Editing ~ Copyediting

• I have edited four books by prolific e-author, Carol Gambill. This is a sample chapter from Serranto's Revenge with my redlines. I edited this novel for content, clarity, story flow, grammar and sentence structure.
  
• This is how I edited Fido Publishing's Content Editor test. Needless to say, I am now a Content Editor for them, and I just finished my first full-length novel.
  

 Book Publishing Services: Design & Formatting

• I designed the cover and interior, and formatted all the files to publish my newest book of poetry with CreateSpace. It is now available on Amazon, and published as #1 in Six Ft. Swells Press' Top Shelf Poetry Series.
  
• Six Ft. Swells Press is a small poetry press where I am co-publisher and co-editor. I also design and format all of our chapbooks.
  
• I designed and formatted the interior, as well as designed the book cover for this client's first collection of short stories. I worked with CreateSpace to ensure proper print of final book and formatted all files to their specs.
  

 Writing ~ Copywriting ~ Blogging

• Author client asked me to write back cover copy for her second novel that I completed copyediting at the end of 2009. She started with her own summary and I edited and rewrote it to fit specifications and amp up the plot interest.
  
• When working as the Marketing Director for a children's book publisher, I would write content for our quarterly print newsletter that went to 6,000 educators, teachers, and mailing list recipients. I also formatted & designed each newsletter.
  
• I blogged in 2008 for Glow Beverages as "art mama" from the perspective of a new mom, and to an audience of new moms and moms-to-be. This was my first blog, and most favorite.
  

 Print Design

• I designed and wrote copy for numerous book ads while working for Dawn Publications. These ads went into major national book industry magazines, such as Publishers Weekly, School Library Journal and Foreword Magazine.
  
• I designed and wrote content for a cost-saving, streamlined, four-page brochure for Dawn Publications that showcased our award-winning and favorite books.
